Abstract Modern Art – Deep Blue
As I didn’t take a drawing course, I chose to create abstract art. This technique fascinates me because of the possibility of placing mixtures of shapes and colors on canvas without committing to the perfection of a drawing. I like geometric shapes, strong colors, brightness and creativity in the harmony of colors!
In this canvas I used acrylic metallic paints in colors, blue, purple and silver, in addition to the normal white and black paints. I used glitter and the base is plywood.
Plywood – A manmade material prized for its great versatility, plywood appears in elements of the home as various as flooring, walls, doors, and furniture. Strong and lightweight—the product of several compressed, glued-together layers.
